Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026 · Barcode Rocket is in private beta
1. The service
Barcode Rocket generates print-ready barcode PDFs (ISBN, EAN/UPC, GS1-128, GS1 Composite, QR and related formats). Access is currently by invitation, free of charge, as a private beta: features, limits and availability may change, and the service may occasionally be interrupted while we improve it. By using the service you accept these Terms.
2. Your account
Keep your login credentials to yourself — you are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are personal: sharing or reselling access is not allowed. We may suspend accounts that break these Terms.
3. Acceptable use and fair use
- Use the service for its purpose — generating barcodes for your own or your clients' products and publications.
- Do not attempt to circumvent usage limits (including by creating additional accounts), scrape or overload the API, or probe the service's security.
- Usage limits in the beta (such as the daily download allowance) exist to keep the service fast and free for everyone; we may adjust them and may throttle or suspend accounts whose usage is abusive or clearly outside normal patterns.
4. Print responsibility
Always verify before a production print run. Our barcodes follow the GS1 and ISO/IEC specifications and every check digit is validated — but printing conditions (scaling, inks, substrate, lamination) are outside our control. Confirm a proof with your printer and, for retail products, with a barcode verifier or your GS1 organisation before committing to a print run. You are responsible for the correctness of the numbers you enter (ISBN, GTIN, prices, links) and for the final printed result.
5. Your content and our rights
The codes and data you enter, and the PDFs generated from them, are yours — we store no generated files, only a technical log (see the Privacy page). The service itself — software, design, templates and the Barcode Rocket name — remains ours.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially during the beta.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Barcode Rocket shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages — including lost profits, spoiled print runs, recalled products or lost data — arising from the use of the service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim (during the free beta: zero).
8. Changes and termination
You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. We may suspend or close accounts that materially breach these Terms.
9. Governing law and contact
Barcode Rocket is operated as an independent professional service based in Serbia, and these Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia. Questions and notices: [email protected] or the contact form on the site.
